PRE-K COUNTS AT RIVERVIEW CHRISTIAN
Riverview Christian’s Pre-K Counts Mission:
To provide high quality, comprehensive services to all enrolled Pre-K Counts children and their families through partnership with families, staff, and the community, we offer services designed to promote environments in which all can thrive and reach their full potential.
Riverview Christian’s Pre-K Counts Goals:
Equip and educate preschool children with the school readiness skills needed to be ready for school success.
Nurture his or her intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
Provide opportunities for children and families in our program that will help prepare them for future school and life successes.
Increase the chance of academic excellence, attending college or trade school, and having a successful career.
Riverview Christian’S Pre-K Counts classrooms:
Employ teachers with the education and expertise to teach young children
Allow children to participate in indoor and outdoor play daily
Use a research-based curriculum that will help your child grow, academically and socially
Regularly review your child’s progress and choose teaching and learning activities that are best for your child
Help you and your child adjust to pre-kindergarten and create a smooth transition to kindergarten
Provide nutritious lunch and snacks daily
Open 6 hours daily, Monday through Friday from August to June*
Who is eligible foR RIVERVIEW CHRISTIAN’S Pre-K Counts?
Children age of 3 (by September 1, 2024) and before the entry age for kindergarten.
Children who are 4 years and older will have first priority.
Riverview Christian’s PA Pre-K Counts is free to eligible families and is funded through Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts.
Families earning up to 300% of the federal poverty level (see chart for reference).
Do you have Wrap-Around Care?
We offer up to 4 hours of care daily (Monday - Friday) - $250/week, but space is limited!
